  1. Nelson, my heart is breaking for you. Know that I am thinking of you.

  2. Dear Nelson, I'm so sorry for your loss. My grandfather had a ten year struggle with Alzheimer's, and it was so incredibly painful for our family. I'm praying that you and your children find some comfort at this time in time in knowing that Jacqueline and Axl are back together, and with your other Rottweilers at the Rainbow Bridge.

P.S. I'm glad that Ruffin is home with you and Bessie.

  3. There are no adequate words other than to say that we'll be keeping you, Jacqueline, and your family in our thoughts.

  4. Oh my goodness, this brought tears to my eyes. I am so very sorry for your loss. May her soul rest in peace and may you find comfort in the knowledge that her battle is over. She was blessed to have you as her husband and caretaker. God bless you all.

  5. Nelson, I will be with you in thought and prayer. When we were living in Kentucky, Jackie and I had some fun times together, I will always cherish the friendship that we had. Love&Blessings, Marge

  6. My sympathies and condolences! Your posts and pics of your wife were a delight to read. It was wonderful to see the love and affection between both of you as well as the rotts. Your posts of your wife Jackie and Axl were especially touching. I'm glad her passing was peaceful. Much love -Jocelyn Chang.

  7. Please know that even though you only have a few comments here, that there are hundreds, maybe thousands of people praying for your family. You've had a tough year, but in God's plan there's always a rainbow after the storm. Hang in there. You are not alone... You have God, Ruff, Bessie and all of us. Every post from you brightens our days. And we should let you know more often how much you mean to us. We love you and you are in our prayers.

I know tomorrow is the viewing and Saturday is the Mass. Will the dogs participate or will you have a private ceremony for them to attend?

    1. Suzi, thank you for the kind words and prayers. Both Ruff and Bessie saw their Mom after she passed away and they said their Good Byes. They will not be at the wake.

  8. I pray that your memories bring you peace and comfort. You've suffered some tough times recently, I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

  9. We are so sorry to hear this news, Nelson... Please know that you are in our hearts and thoughts, and in many others as well. Your journey as of recent has shown some difficult times, to say the least. We look forward to seeing the sun shine on you in due time, after all the rain and storms you have withstood. May your strength continue forward, like your relentless devotion for your loved ones. Heartfelt thoughts for your beloved Jacqueline and Axl; may they rest in peace together. Sending love and warmth to you, Ruff, and Bessie. Warmly, Annette
